Reese Witherspoon in 2006 after winning an Oscar for playing June Carter Cash in Walk the Line

Witherspoon donned a 1955 Christian Dior gown of champagne pink, extravagantly beaded in a floral pattern on a sheer and beribboned background.  Her chandelier earrings had a vintage feel and echoed the pink and silver of the gown.

Isaac Mizrahi said of the dress that it wasn’t “as photogenic as it is beautiful in person.  It looked like a beautiful old oil painting that she found.”

Said Witherspoon, “I found it in a vintage store in Paris.  It has a lot of love in it.”
